Opus Solutions Hong Kong–Indonesia Tech Delegation Trip

In March 2026, Opus Solutions had the privilege of arranging and accompanying a high-impact technology delegation from Cyberport Hong Kong to Indonesia. Organised under the Economic and Trade Express (ETE) initiative, with support from HKETO Jakarta, InvestHK, and HKTDC, the mission brought 12 Hong Kong companies face-to-face with Indonesia’s rapidly growing innovation ecosystem.

The two-day mission spanned Bandung and Jakarta, two of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic technology corridors. Each stop was designed to create meaningful connections between Hong Kong’s world-class tech capabilities and Indonesia’s surging demand for digital solutions.

Hong Kong-Indonesia Delegation Significance

Indonesia is Southeast Asia’s largest digital economy, projected to surpass $150 billion in gross merchandise value by 2030. For Hong Kong’s technology companies, the opportunities are immense, from smart city infrastructure in rapidly urbanising cities to AI-driven healthcare solutions serving a population of over 270 million.

Opus Solutions’ extensive and well-established network across Indonesia’s technology, government, and academic sectors aims to expand market opportunities for Hong Kong-based technology firms to expand operations to Indonesia. The firm’s relationships with local enterprises, research institutions, universities, and policymakers ensured that the delegation included stakeholders who could significantly support cross-border collaboration between the regions.
